Manufacturers’ Reps & Stocking Distributors Wanted
Manufacturers’
Representatives. Pulsar Fiber Optics is seeking experienced
Manufacturers’ Representatives in several key territories. Candidates
should have:
|
• |
A
technical understanding of fiber optics, fiber optic patch cords and
trunk cable assemblies; |
|
|
|
|
• |
Familiarity with ‘inside plant’ and ‘outside plant’ fiber optic cabling
requirements; |
|
|
|
|
• |
Familiarity with FTTH (fiber to the home) & FTTP (fiber to
the premises) in telecom and cable-TV applications; |
|
|
|
|
• |
An
established customer base of RBOCs (Regional Bell Operating
Companies), independent telephone companies,
MSO
cable operators, ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers that uses
their own designs and intellectual property (IP)),
OEMs
(Original Equipment Manufacturers is often an equipment designer and
manufacturer that sells products that are made by other companies)
and/or CMs (Contract Manufacturers); |

|
|
|
• |
The
ability and experience to work with local, regional and national
franchised stocking distributors; and, |
|
|
|
|
• |
Be
capable of working with the customers’ engineering and procurement
personnel to effectively establish Pulsar Fiber Optics as an approved
vendor
and developing realistic |
Pulsar Fiber Optics
offers its 'manufacturers’
representatives' a very attractive and
competitive commission structure. Our contract is based on ERA's
recommendations and has a very fair 'split commission provisions.' We
provide very good advertising and technical collateral materials and on-site
training for your sales staff and franchised distributors.
